Starlight Room
Our Starlight Room is a large room with many areas for your child to explore and learn. This room includes paint/art
easels that change regularly for projects such as paint stamping, marble painting , pastel drawings and brush painting.
There is always an adult working at this center to assist the children. There is a craft area for free choice center
where various materials for the children are available and they can choose and create their own special projects.
There is also a more structured and supervised craft table for children to participate in a daily themed craft project.
The room also contains a library of books for the children that is rotated on a regular basis, a large circle area where
children share and play together as a group. This is also where games, puzzles and other learning tools are kept for
children to use.
Nature room
This area is part of our Nature Room. There are lots of tables for the children to work at. This is also the room
where snack is served to the children but they are encouraged to pour their milk or juice from a smaller container
and take their cup and napkin to the garbage. Puzzles and other learning tools are available to the children in
this area.

Dramatic Center
The pretend play area is very important and is always very busy. This area is fully equipped with all the necessary
items for a great kitchen. It also include a pretend washer and dryer and a large selection of dress up clothes.
This area is sometimes converted into themed centers such as a post-office, fully set up with envelopes and stamping
tools for mailing all those important letters. It has also been turned into a grand castle and the new costumes we
just added include a king, queen, princess, knights and even a dragon for a exciting adventure.

Nature Room Circle
This area of the Nature Room is where circle time takes place. All kinds of important and interesting things happen
in this area that include teaching time, sharing and story time. There is also an listening center where children
can follow along with a variety of stories through cassette tapes.
